Welcome to Living Edge Center

Deeply listening together for the movement and the presence of the Holy in everyday life, Pastor Heidi Fish will serve as a guide and compassionate companion on your spiritual journey. You'll set aside sacred time and sacred space to explore your deepest truths and longings.

Every culture has traditions to assist people in developing their sense of spirituality. The Christian tradition has used the practice of spiritual direction for centuries as a way of caring for the soul.

“The true Director is the Holy Spirit.”

"The true Director is the Holy Spirit. In a direction session, we listen together for what the Spirit is stirring inside of you," Heidi explains. "In the safety of the direction relationship, we will explore the resources of your own faith or values system to discover what is life giving for you and what you may have outgrown."

Despite what the name might suggest, spiritual direction is a very non-directive, contemplative process that can help you acknowledge the living mystery which enlivens every atom of creation. It is not therapy or counseling. It also is not "church," which focuses on communal worship. Spiritual direction focuses on your personal intimate relationship with God. There is no homework, but you may choose to explore various spiritual practices to support your growth and connection to the Holy.
